Think I will ride to the Albany Library. Looks like I’m taking the route along Cutting and the Bay Trail.
I have the kind of weather I like to ride in cloudy and cool.
Seems to be a lot of group rides heading towards the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Glad I’m going in the opposite direction.

A little artwork featuring the history of Richmond CA. Pretty cool.
Want to get some reading done so the Albany Library is a good spot and a nice rest spot before the pedal home.
Going to take a bike ride to the YMCA for a workout. Left knee still isn’t strong enough for a long ride, but can handle a short ride.
The weight room at the YMCA is a little crowded. At least I found a spot on the AstroTurf area where I’m not too close to anyone. It was a good workout.
Going to ride to the San Pablo Library. Get some reading in and see if I can find an interesting book to read. Mission accomplished.
Survived the pedal home and the left knee feels good. Even cleaned my bicycle chain.
On a bicycle ride to Rodeo Beach. A light ride to see how my left knee does. Going to take it slow.
This sucks during my ride it starts to rain. Doesn’t rain on September in the SF Bay Area, but the last few years September has had weird weather.
Going to hide at the Hercules Library until Hercules Library.
Knee is doing good. Still a little tender, but at least I can ride my bicycle.
Basically took the day off to test my knee and see how my Saturday bicycle ride will go. If If I take it easy I can go on a nice ride. Maybe Treasure Island.
Anarchism is the ideal of such a condition; of a society without force and compulsion, where all men shall be equals, and live in freedom, peace, and harmony.
The word Anarchy comes from the Greek, meaning without force, without violence or government, because government is the very fountainhead of violence, constraint, and coercion.
Anarchy therefore does not mean disorder and chaos, as you thought before. On the contrary, it is the very reverse of it; it means no government, which is freedom and liberty. Disorder is the child of authority and compulsion. Liberty is the mother of order.
Alexander Beckman, What is Anarchism?
Went to Point Molate Beach to check out the new trail. It was a nice walk.
I will miss the trail some homeless artist made using wood and walking through the wooded area. The artwork on the wood was cool.
It wasn’t a trail for the family or if your legs weren’t at full strength.
This sucks. I have a knee sprain. Friday at work there was a little pain. Started to feel really sore after work.
Saturday the knee is sore. I will try a bicycle ride. This didn’t work. The left knee can’t rise high enough to pedal the bicycle. The knee is sore. A day of relaxation. Not good at sitting around.
Sunday morning the knee is sore, but I think I can go on a light hike.
That didn’t sound good. A pop behind my knee. Now the knee really hurts. Hate to do it, but off to Kaiser Emergency.
Made it to Kaiser, but I’m thinking about just going back home. I’m here might as well go in and make sure there isn’t a major issue.
The wait wasn’t really too long. Got an x-ray and ended up being told that there is no damage. Looks like a sprain knee.
I’m keeping the knee wrapped. I got an Anaconda wrap. I like it. It keeps the knee stabilized and I can walk.
Now all I can do is wait for a full healing. Bicycle riding will be out for a bit.

I got the Lochby Mini Pocket Journal. I wanted something small and fit in my pocket without me noticing it wasn’t there.
I like it. Being able to zip it up is a plus. I put my clipper card, work ID, credit card and insurance card on the left side.
A small notebook for keeping track of what I do at the gym and other notes. Keep my driver’s license and medical card in back.
I can put cash in it but I usually keep cash in my pants pocket.
I really like it.
Put my winter setup on my bicycle. I carry more stuff during the winter and I tend to stop and shop more. Don’t ride long distances during t...
